Mindful Monday

Buried in your heart is a powerful knowing, telling you what you'd love to dedicate your life to.” — Dr. John F. Demartini.

A brand new Monday morning has arrived. Did you start the day with a groan, a strained realisation that the work week begins again? Perhaps you welcomed it with a stretch, a deep breath and a smile?

Regardless of how you woke up this morning, starting your day with a clear intention can make all the difference, helping you to stay centred, aware, and focused as the day unfolds.

An intention is an aim, a thought, a purpose or attitude that you commit to. Intentions come from the heart. Intentions are intangible, heart-driven and purposeful. Setting an intention for the day is a way to bring your heart and mind into alignment. When you plant your seed of intention, you can nourish it with your thoughts and attention.

Everything that this day holds for you can be met with your purposeful, wholehearted intention that you have set for yourself. This intention can be as simple as “I will focus on the good that today brings” or “I choose love”.

Whatever your intention may be, silently and purposefully connecting with it today can help guide you through the chaos of life. Revisit your intention often and whenever needed throughout the day. Intentions are a wonderful way to help you stay grounded and reconnect with what matters most.

What is your intention for this Monday morning?
